Esperanza supports students to graduate high school and promotes the attainment of post-secondary education. Esperanza has six main programs including academics, family engagement, mentoring, hispanic youth leadership program, post-secondary, and STEAM summer camp. They are looking for bilingual volunteers who have a lot of heart to support the Hispanic community of Greater Cleveland.
True2U mentoring helps all 2,300 8th grade student in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District across 63 school buildings. True2U mentors help students find their strengths, explore their interests and career pathways, check out their high school options from 30+ in the CMSD portfolio, and accept and celebrate who they are. They are looking for dedicated volunteers to assist in class sessions and support a CMSD 8th grader.
Seeds of Literacy is a nonprofit organization that provides FREE basic education and GED® and HiSET® preparation to adults. They are looking for tutors that have the patience, kindness, passion, and skill to help change our community one adult learner at a time.
Writers in Residence is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that teaches creative writing to incarcerated youth and aids in their reentry to their home community through mentoring. They are looking for tutors college age or above with the time and passion to mentor a justice-involved youth.
